Book Page Paper Mache Bud Vase {Book Page Craft Week!}

This week I am dedicating to Book Page Crafts! On Friday I would LOVE to feature some of your Book Page Crafts! Please e-mail me (firefliesandjellybeans(at)gmail(dot)com) your links/photos of your Book Page Crafts so that I can show them off on Friday!

Today we are going to make a Book Page Paper Mache Bud vase!

Here is what you will need:
Book Pages
glass bottle (you can use a vase you already have, an old reed diffuser jar, milk jars..)
Ribbon
Mod Podge

1. Rip your book pages into thin strips

2.) Mix one part warm water and one part Mod Podge. The warm water will dissolve the glue faster.

3.) Dip your strips into the glue mix

4.) Wrap around your bottle

Overlapping with each strip.

Keep going until the vase/bottle is covered and let dry over night.

5.) Tie a ribbon around the top.

I am linking to these parties!

I'm loving all the book page crafts! I need to run to the thrift store and get a book to use... but I'll wait until this snow storm dies down first!

If you'd like, I'm hosting my very first link party today. And you are welcome to link up this craft- and any others you'd like to!
