Summer adventures with Michael's

It's summer!  The kids are out of school, the weather is (supposed to be) nice, and there are more daylight hours.  It is a great time to take adventures and Michael's Arts and Craft stores want to help!

They are challenging us to take time off of our laptops and phones and find ways to celebrate summer with our families!  It is time to unplug and reconnect with what is important.  Relax and enjoy the summer.

As bloggers we are always trying to find that balance of online and offline.  This challenge asks us to cut back 2 hours a day... you can do 2 hours less time on the Internet!

I signed up right away!  With my 3 kids at home all day I know that I will need to have my focus on them and not on my blog or blog stats! That doesn't mean that I am going to give up completely... just cut back to get creative with my kids.

You know how it goes...  You are online browsing your favorite blogs, tweeting, Facebooking and completely annoyed that your kids want breakfast.   Can't they see that you are busy?!  And then the next thing you know it has been 2 hours and your kids are running around crazy and the house is trashed... (or does this only happen to me?)   SO a little time off for me is a good thing... balance!

Go here to sign the pledge and also get tons of fun crafting ideas for your summer adventure!

To help with our summer adventure Michael's is offering a Craft Camp: Passport to Imagination for kids 5 and older.  It is 3 days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) and cost just $2 a session!  They will be taking  a journey around the world!  Each week they will make crafts as they travel to the 7 continents.   Check out some of the fun crafts they will be doing!

Passport to Imagination starts June 17th so hurry to your Michael's store to sign up - space is limited!   My son is going to love this!

Disclaimer: Michael's is sponsoring my child to join The Passport to Imagination Craft Camp and provided a gift card for craft supplies (for a kids craft coming soon!)... all my opinions are 100% mine!

Baby Boy 2 months

Holy Cow!  It has been 2 months since my baby was born!  I have heard that 2 months is a turning point for babies, and so far it seems to be true.  He is sleeping a little more and going longer between feedings and I am getting the hang of being a mom of 3.  So, for now life is better than it was a couple weeks ago.

It is so fun to see our little boy's personality come out.  He is a pretty happy baby!

We just had his check up and he is growing right on schedule!  13.5 pounds and 24 inches.

He is starting to smile a lot now, especially when his brother and sister are around!
Oh- and the baby coo-ing is the best sound in the world!

And I seriously can not stop kissing these cheeks!

End of the year Teacher gift

I just put together a quick gift for my daughter's preschool teachers... she has 5 of them so what ever I made I had to be able to do it 5 times!  Here is what I came up with!

Lace Flower (hot glued onto a barrett clip)

I know most of the country is out of school or close to being out of school but you can always pin-it for next year! It would also make a great "Welcome Back to School" Gift!

Let summer begin!
