Spring Yarn Vase

Today, I have a fun and easy spring decor craft for you:

Here is what you will need:
Mod Podge
Paint brush
vase
yarn

Here is how you make your own:
1. Paint on the Mod Podge on the top of the vase down about an inch.  You don't want to go down too far because the Mod Podge dries.
2. Wrap your yarn about the vase over the Mod Podge.  Be sure to cover the end and push all the rings together tight.
3. Paint on some more Mod Podge.
4. Wrap more yarn... repeat, repeat, repeat!

5. Wrap all the way down to the bottom of the vase and use Mod Podge to glue the end in the place.  I had to hold in in place while it dried.   If you are in a hurry you could also use a dot of hot glue.

Add some cute embellishments and you have an adorable spring vase!

Show Off Your Stuff Party # 119

Hello and welcome to our Show Off Your Stuff Party!

This week I am showing off:

Do you want to make some money blogging?
One site that I have found helpful in finding sponsors is Social Spark
They match bloggers with advertisers. You get to choose who you promote and how you promote it! It really is a win-win!

Here is the run down:
1. Pay attention! There are 3 categories to link up:
Crafts and Sewing
DIY and Home Decor
Recipes
pick one and go with it!

{If you pick the wrong one... you can delete your own and add it to the right one! :) }

2. Add a link to your specific post, not the main page of your blog.

3. Please do not link up to something that you are just trying to sell.

4. Link to this party from your post so everyone can get in on the fun. You can just grab my button!

CLIF Kid Organic Snacks- a great and healthy snack for on the go!

I was lucky to get to review CLIF Kid organic bars and snacks.  CLIF kid bars are a a nutritious snack bar made with eight grams of organic whole grains and 12 essential vitamins and minerals that kids need.  They have a new flavor Iced Oatmeal Cookies.  It tastes just like home-baked oatmeal cookies.  My kids love these bars!  The ate them up like they were cookies... to be fair I did call them cookie bars!  And, since these bars are made with whole grains and vitamins, I feel good about it to them!
We also got to try some of their other flavored bars.  The Peanut butter crispy bar is my favorite!
CLIF Kid snacks are made with kids’ growing bodies in mind, and Zbars make sure to provide an appropriate balance of protein, carbohydrates and fiber so that kids stay nourished, without crashing.
We also loved the fruit rope!  It is a great gluten free snack!  And it counts as a serving of fruit too!
My daughter's favorite is the Iced oatmeal cookie bar.  It is a great on-the-go breakfast for us when we have to drop her brother off at preschool.
My son loves the Chocolate chip bar.
It is a great snack to have on-the-go because it is filling and nutritious!

I now buy my own CLIF kid bars at Target.  They are in the aisle with the zone bars, kind-of by the pharmacy.  I always make sure I have a couple in my bag in case of a snack emergency!

Find out more about CLIF Kid Bars HERE   and Follow them on Facebook too!

***Disclosure: I was provided with a sample of CLIF Kid's Snack for Free, but my opinions are 100% honest!  And I have since purchased CLIF kid Zbars on my own!***
