Happy Halloween!

We hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!  Here are the kids in their costumes this year:

My Sweet girl was a butterfly princess.
Not just a butterfly, not just a princess... a butterfly princess.
I think she just wanted to wear the crown and the wings! :)

My 5 year old son was Optimus Prime.
He hated the mask and this is the one time he wore it.
I guess next year we should pick a costume that doesn't need a mask.

Baby boy was a panda.
Ohmygoodnees...he was just the cutest thing ever.
Someone make time stop!

Duck Tape Trick-or-Treat Bag Tutorial

Need a Trick-or-Treat bag?  Here is a fun one made out of Duck Tape!  It also could be used as a gift bag for Christmas too!

1. Supplies: Fun patterned Duck Tape or Duck Tape Sheets, scissors, foam sheet (12X18)
2-3. Cover your foam sheet with the patterned duck tape.  The duck tape sheets make this so easy! But I also made one with just the tape too.
4. Cover the edges with a contrasting Duck Tape.

5-6. Fold your foam sheet in half and tape the sides closed.
7-8. Square off the bottom corners by pushing them into the middle. (See the picture of help)

9. -10 With the corner squared off, use duck tape on the inside to hold the corners in place and to reinforce the seam.
11-12.  Make a long strip for the handle by folding the tape in half and then use the tape to attach it to the bag.  Make 2 handles.

I also made one with Super Hero tape for my son!

You got Pumpk'd! - A fun Family Halloween Activity!

Here is fun family Halloween event for the whole family.

We don't like to do scary... it is just - well, too scary for us! We still like to participate in halloween, so, my sister came up with an alternative to "you got boo'ed"- You Got Pumpk'd!  We liked the idea of having pumpkins on everyone's door instead of ghosts.  My sister and her kids Pumpk'd some friends this weekend and being a good blogging sister she took pictures for me!

Here is what you do:
Print off the free download (at the bottom of the post!)
Load up a pumpkin or bowl full of candy and fun things.
Dress like Ninja's - this is a stealth mission!
Grab your candy bowl and head over to some friend's house

Sneak up to their door and ring the doorbell
Race away and hide in the bushes so they don't see you!
Stay quite!

Wait until grab their bowl of Halloween goodies!

Here is a free printable for you!
Download HERE!

Totally fun right?!  What are some fun family things you do on Halloween?
