If life had a "do-over" button I would push it and go back to Junior High. I know crazy, right? Who wants to go back to Junior High?! I had an over all good experience in Jr. high... I mean I must have liked it since I later became a middle school teacher. But there is one thing I would change. I would have joined the swim team.
Here I am in Junior High.... Aren't I so cute??
I was not involved in any sports or extra curricular activities during Junior High. I love to swim and I am good at it. I am not overly athletic but I can swim like a fish! During the school year we had swimming as part of our gym class and I aced all the strokes. The gym teacher would use me as an example. Too bad they never encouraged me to join the team. I think I would have had a lot of fun.
As a teacher of Junior Highers, I see the benefits of being on a team, especially during those tough early teen years. It boost confidence, gives you goals to work on, and builds good relationships. Who knows, I may have gotten a scholarship to college too! : ) Ok- that is taking it a bit far, but with the Summer Olympics coming up I get all dreamy and think of what might have been...
A word on Do-Overs from Frigidaire: The Frigidaire Gallery™Dishwasher gets dishes fully cleaned
the first time, so there are no dish do-overs. Nearly half of adults
admit to re-washing and/or re-drying dishes after the dishwasher cycle
has been completed. To prevent dishwasher do-overs, Frigidaire® is
stepping in with its new Gallery® Dishwasher featuring the OrbitCleanTM
Wash Arm, ensuring dishes are cleaned right the first time.
So, tell me friends, What would you do over?
