Happy Day Project Day 2: Hand Written Letter

happy day
I love a good hand written letter.  I had SEVERAL pen-pals all though out middle school and high school.  It all started when my grandma (who lived out of state) started writing to me.  I loved getting mail just for me!

So when I was thinking of who to send my hand written letter to, I decided on my 7 year old nephew.  He lives across the country from us and he just started getting into writing.  He loves to write his own stories.
So, I included a start to a story.  I wrote the first page, and asked my nephew to write the second page and send it back to me to write the 3rd page and so on.  We are going to write a story together... across the miles.  I cannot see him as much as I'd like but I still want a connection with him.  My sister has 3 kids, so the story is about them (Their nicknames are K-bear, Hammer and Boo.  Boo is the little sister who drives her brothers crazy!)!

I hope he enjoys it as much as I am!

That is such a great idea! It's a great way to stay in touch with family members who live far away. I love it!
