Little Girls Room Art #3

Here is my third and final project for my Little Girls Room Art Series!
I have a TON of mirrors in my garage from my wedding.  We used them for our centerpieces... that was 13 years ago.  I have been wanting to try out a distressed mirror project for a while now and DecoArt's Gloss Enamels gave me the push I needed.

Here is what you will need:
Mirror
DecoArt's Gloss Enamels
Scrapbook Paper
Gorilla Glue Super Glue
Cutting Edge Stencils
Sandpaper

1. Use your sand paper to sand off the paint on the back side of your mirror.
This is what it looks like from the back.
This is what it looks like from the front side.
Keep sanding until you have the distressed look you like.

2. Wash off the back side of the mirror and let dry.  Use your Gorilla Crazy glue to attach your paper to your mirror.  I put the glue on where I left the paint on the back side of the mirror... so you would not see any glue marks.

3. Tape your Stencil in place and Dab (in an up and down motion) on your DecoArt Gloss Enamels.

4. Mark where you want your "hook" to go and use a DiscHanger to attach it to the wall.  You just follow the instructions that come with the hanger... it is really easy!

5. Hang it up on your wall!
