Our Footprint art was inspired by Fun Hand Print Art
Here is how we made it:
We did the footprints outside to keep the mess outside!
We painted one foot red and the other foot yellow and placed them on the paper.
We let the kids jump in the hose water to wash their feet.
We use Elmer's Mini Glue dotes to attach the googly eyes.
We used The Elmer's Project Poppers markers to add the strips, dots and wings on our bugs!
For the snack we had bug themed treats!
Raisans to be bugs
Gummy Worms
Apple slices cut into butterfly shapes with a cookie cutter.
Yummy
Out Lighting Bug was inspired by OhDeeOh
Let me start off by saying: THIS IS NOT A PRESCHOOL CRAFT!! The adults ended up making the craft for all of the kids... they loved it but they were able to do very little. This would be a great craft for kids ages 10 and up.
I pre-cut the Pipe cleaners {6 shorter ones for the legs and 2 longer ones for the antennas) the wings (out of tissue paper) and the googly eyes and put them in a baggy for the kids.
I pre-poked the holes in the Easter Eggs to put the legs and antennas on.
We used the Elmer's Mini glue dots to attach the wings and the googly eyes.
