DIY Club Fabric- Stencil wall art

Another fun Project for the DIY Club!

I used fabric DecoArt paint, and my Cutting Edge stencil to make a super fun and beautiful piece of wall art!

Here is what you will need to make one yourself:
Fabic
Frame (I reused one I already had! Hooray for recycling!)

1. Take apart your frame and tape or glue your fabric to the cardboard piece that fits inside the frame.
Turn it over.

2. Place your stencil on your fabric and tape it down.
Dab craft paint over the stencil... make sure you dab and that you do not brush on the stencil!

Move your stencil and repeat and repeat.

3. I added some depth to the painting by lining up the stencil on the flower as best as I could and then dabbing yellow around the corners of the the stencil.

A close up of yellow detail.  It really added a lot to the picture!

4. Put your frame back together and hang up!

I seriously love that! It's gorgeous. I really love dandelions. So what if they're weeds! I'm really looking to do something like this for my bathroom. Thanks for sharing :)

Wow, it's so easy and inexpensive, but it looks amazing! I think having a great stencil is key. Great job!

Love this! What a great idea to stencil directly on fabric. It gives it such a high end look. Thanks for sharing.
