I love the look of the modern portraits! But I do not love the price tag that comes with them. So I set out to find a way to make my own! DecoArt's Gloss Enamels helped me out!
Here is what you will need:
Clear glass plate
DecoArt's Gloss Enamels
Paint brushes
Edited photo
I used Picnik to edit my pictures. It is free and easy to use!
I printed my picture onto regular paper and taped it to my plate.
I painted over the black parts with DecoArt's Gloss Enamels paints and followed the directions to let the paint harden.
I made a unique portrait of my son and daughter!

This is too cute! I LOVE the idea of putting them on a plate in that modern style! I came with a similar way of getting that look, when I wanted to carve my kids faces into pumpkins last Halloween! :)
