Updating my Book Page Wreath For Spring

It is high time I changed my book page wreath from Valentine's Day theme to a spring theme.
{To make the book page wreath click HERE!}

Here is what how I changed my wreath.
I used:
Burlap (2 colors)
Needle and Thread
Craft Glue (not pictured)
Colored Rhinestones

1.)Make some flower templates. I used clip art and found some simple black and white flowers and cropped them to 3 different sizes.

2.) Cut out your templates, pin them to your burlap and cut out the flowers on the burlap.

Cut all three sizes of both colors of burlap.

3.) Cut a strip off of one side of your burlap to make the strap to hang it up.

4.) Assemble your flowers with alternating colors and put a button in the middle. Hand sew the button with you needle and thread to attach all the layers.

5.) Using craft glue attach your rhinestones to your buttons of the flowers.

6.) Use straight pins to attach your flowers to the Book Page Wreath.

Use your strap to hang it up!

I put my valentines pieces in a baggie to save for next year! I love that I can easily change this wreath!

I am linking to these parties!

The burlap flowers are DARLING! I love the idea. I actually have the exact same wall candle holder, and it's a little too simple. But your idea to add a wreath on the side is great. Beautiful blog! I am a new follower :)

This is such an inexpensive way to decorate...just switch out colors for each season/holiday. I love it! Thanks for the creative idea.

Love these burlap flowers. I've made burlap curtains for my sons room. Isn't burlap great to work with? Thanks for a great idea!

Stopping over from Kimba's. Funny I posted a Spring Wreath too! But you were updating since Valentine, my old one was from Christmas!
That bookwreath is real lovely and I love it too, that you can so easily make it move through the seasons.

Turned out great, love how you updated the one you already had as opposed to making a whole new one.
