Hey all you adorable Fireflies and Jellybean GALS. My name is Cheri from Its So Very Cheri.
I am going to show you a fun project, but before we get to it I will tell you a little bit about me.I am MOM to these 4 adorable kids...Aren't they DELICIOUS?
I home School G1 and G2 and chase G3 and G4 around. Next year G3 starts school. My hubby is in school as well, so it is CRAZY around the house.

I also have a super busy but super fun blog and the BEST followers EVER. I began blogging 10 months ago and just moved my blog to my own website a month ago.
If you used to follow me and wondered where I went--WELL--you need to RE-Sign up to follow me cuz' Google doesn't let you take your followers with you, and that my dear friends is why you aren't getting my info in your READERS any more--hate GOOGLE, not me.

If you have never followed me, come on over--it would tickle me SHABBY CHIC PINK.

There is a lot of fun new stuff going on over at my new site and still more fun to come. Here is my blog Schedule

AND
I have a NEW TOTALLY AWESOME give-a-way starting TODAY!!!
I have lots more companies in the line up for give-a-ways as well.

I am giving you a sneak peak at something I started working on. I created in the middle of the night.
I will wake up and all of a sudden have an idea pop in my head and then I can't go back to sleep till I have the whole thing figured out.
I will be showing these babies off next week. They are jewelry tiles and each one is one of a kind-hand made.

On Sunday Night I will be showing the final reveal of a project I did--with the help of my big boys.

I will show all of it with my Its So Very Creative party (Sunday Night)

I am a DIY kind of gal. I love doing projects with my hubby but he is one busy guy these days and since I have always just been one, to grab the tools and get the project done, this was the perfect project for ME and the 2 big boys helped too.

We made a CHESS TABLE AND CHESS PIECES.

I just love to work on things. I see something and think "I can make that". I get the occasional eye roll from Prince Charming but all in all he still thinks I am pretty wonderful.
I love working on projects with my sweet husband but he is super busy too and if I waited for him to get all my projects done I wouldn't get many accomplished.

We were dropping off some donations at the Good Will when I saw these tables sitting by the dumpster and asked about them. The guy said they were trashing them because they didn't have the glass tops on them and he let me have them for free.
I instantly thought it would be great to use the 2 end tables as a coffee table/games table.

I wanted them to be happy with the chess pieces so I had them go with me. They weren't totally sold till they started seeing everything come together.

We needed something to keep the pieces in and I wanted it to look like an old crate.
I got some pieces of plywood and glued them together, sanded and then began painting them to look like old pieces.

Now I am thinking I may need to make myself some of those Nesting boxes I love over at Layla's
On Sunday night you will see the final reveal of the tables, the game pieces and the boxes.

G3 decided to get creative and do a little decorating on himself.

Thank you so much for having me. Be sure to come over and see what Fawnda did at my blog yesterday.

Here are a few of the projects I am working on:
A lampshade for my Pottery Barn Knock Off lamp
Slip covers for the 4 chairs I got for $3 each
A hand painted rug
And lots more.

Thanks for seeing what happens when Thrifty meets Creative Sensation
Too-da-loo
